Extraction and surgical removal of teeth and wisdom teeth

Wisdom teeth often require removal as they may be impacted, causing pain or infection.  Other situations which may necessitate the removal of certain teeth are when teeth have complex fractures, severe decay, advanced surrounding bone loss or when there is severe crowding and inadequate space in the dental arch for the proper alignment of teeth.
